Officials now believe the man who fell to his death last month at Turner Field in Atlanta took his own life.

The AJC reports the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has informed them Ronald Lee Homer Jr., age 30 of Conyers, committed suicide back on the evening of August 12th as the Braves hosted the Philadelphia Phillies.

Homer fell from the fourth level of the stadium onto the concrete in the player’s parking lot, more than 80 feet below. He later died from his injuries at Atlanta Medical Center.

The death was originally ruled accidental.
