A young man from Cartersville was killed in an early morning wreck Saturday. 

 

Georgia State Patrol confirm that around 4am, a young man in a truck veered off Industrial Park Road and hit a utility pole. His vehicle then overturned on the railroads tracks. 

 

WBHF Community Radio in Cartersville report that the man killed was 19-year-old Caleb Thacker of Cartersville. He was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. 

 

Thacker was a recent graduate of Cass High school.
