A death deemed worthy of an investigation by police drew closer to a resolution Tuesday afternoon, as Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton announced the identity of the man found lifeless in a yard Saturday morning was Evan Hill.
Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap released a statement over the weekend saying the department was investigating the death of a 25-year-old white male after his body was discovered partially clothed around 11 am Saturday morning outside a home on Middlebrook Drive Cartersville.
According to Guyton the cause of Hill’s death has not been determined and his body has been sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy.
Police have given no indication of foul play in the case.
