The stars have aligned over Northwest Georgia, as the third lotto winner in two weeks has emerged.

43-year-old Wendy Sizemore of Adairsville is now $30,000 richer after playing the instant Georgia Lottery game Taxes Paid. She purchased the winning ticket at a convenience store in Lyerly, where she stopped in to buy a beverage.

These past two weeks have been particularly lucky for Northwest Georgia lotto-players. An Alabama Man struck it big in the Mega Millions drawing on March 26th, winning over $250,000 from a ticket he purchased in Cave Spring. The next day, a Rome grandfather won $100,000 from a scratch-off ticket he bought from the Maple Mint Shop in Lindale.

Sizemore, who picked up her 30k prize from the Georgia Lottery Office in Dalton on Tuesday, says she plans to bank her winnings.
