A Rome man was jailed in Gordon County over the weekend and is now facing a number of drug and firearms-related felonies.

Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston issued a report Monday stating that Jeremy Clay Corn, age 35 of Rome, was arrested near Calhoun late Saturday night.

Police pulled Corn over about 11 pm in a routine traffic stop and realized he had an active warrant through Calhoun Municipal Court. Once in custody officers searched his car and allegedly found $700 worth of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and a handgun which was reported missing in a home-break-in back in February.

Corn is charged with Possession of Meth with intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and two weapons-related felonies plus a Probation Violation.
