Bartow County Sheriff's deputies have arrested the fourth suspect involved in a home invasion where a 12 year old boy was duct taped in a chair. 19-year-old Glenn Voice Payton (pictured right) of Cartersville and three others broke into the Jordan Road home back on July 12.
Three individuals are under arrest and a fourth person is being sought by Bartow County Sheriff’s deputies in connection with a home invasion back on July 12.
Sheriff Clark Millsap says a Bartow County man returned to his home on Jordan Road to find his 12 year old son tied up with duct tape and the house ransacked. The man’s son suffered minor scratches and bruises from the assailants during the burglary.
Sheriff’s investigators believe 18-year-old Vernon Edroy Nisbett lured the homeowner away from the residence by asking for a ride. When they left, Austin Kyle Hernandez, age 18; Yvonne Irene Alexander, age 20; and another unidentified male allegedly entered the home, tied up the young juvenile, and took over $2,000 worth of electronics and other items.
Following several weeks of investigations, deputies took out warrants for the four individuals. Nesbitt, Hernandez and Alexander all face charges of robbery, burglary, false imprisonment, kidnapping, battery and first degree cruelty to children. The unidentified suspect will also face similar charges.
