In just one week, the Duck Commander himself will be in-town for one of the most highly anticipated events in Northwest Georgia.
Thousands of fans from at least seven states will pack out State Mutual Stadium next Saturday to see Duck Dynasty’s Jase Roberston speak for about an hour and a half. Also to be in attendance are former wrestlers Nikita Koloff and Lex Luger, as well as Kolby and Victoria Koloff from Lifetime’s Preacher’s Daughters.
VIP passes are already sold-out and general admission tickets are down to the last 25% for the Rome-area Youth of Christ 40th anniversary event.
“At 9am, the Rome Braves will open the parking-lot. Go ahead and start getting in line, because the seating is first come, first served,” Says Eric Gillis, Executive Director for Youth of Christ.
“Jase will be set up on the pitcher’s mound where he’ll be speaking from, so that gives you an idea of the best seats in the house. The gates open at noon for the stadium, and you run in and we have stuff going as soon as you get in there. Kids area will be Homerun Hill, they’ll be inflatables, face-painting, some street magic, some cool stuff going on.”
The event is rain-or-shine. Parking is $5 and Braves’ concessions will be open.
