An alleged hit-and-run involving a pedestrian occurred Monday evening in Rome.
Around 6:30, city and county police were dispatched to 1803 Shorter Ave., where a 911-caller indicated a female victim had been struck by a vehicle that then drove away.
Police are currently looking for a Gray Chrysler 300 in connection with the event.
The victim was reportedly alert and conscious upon arrival of officers.
