Bartow County Sherriff Deputies have apprehended two people who they say beat and robbed a delivery man.

According to a press release from Sherriff Clark Millsap, a delivery man for City Wings of Cartersville was making a delivery to the area of Franklin Dr. on January 30th. The victim was flagged down by a woman in front of a vacant home, and while talking to her, was struck in the neck and head with an unidentified hard object several times. His car, wallet, cash and other items were taken in the incident.

On Thursday, deputies spotted the stolen vehicle on Burnt Hickory Road with Danielle Lefevbre and Bobby Wehunt inside. Both were arrested.
Later, investigators were able to link the two to the original incident, charging them with Aggravated Battery and Armed Robbery. More arrests and charges could be filed in the case, but as of now, the pair are in the Bartow County Jail, awaiting bond.
