An arrest has been made in the Rockmart shooting death of Desmond “Bud” Kinnemore.

 

According to Rockmart city police, Demon Eugene Wilson has officially been charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and related weapon felonies. He was already incarcerated on unrelated charges and is reportedly a subject in an ongoing Federal firearms investigation. 

 

More arrests could follow, as agencies are following up several more leads. 

 

Kinnemore’s death has been under investigation since his body was found in a ditch on January 8th in the area of Morgan Valley Road and Second Street in Rockmart.
