Gordon County Sheriff’s deputies say they made an arrest of two out-of-towners on cocaine trafficking charges following a routine traffic stop on I-75 Tuesday evening.

According to a statement released Wednesday by Sheriff Mitch Ralston the pair of accused drug smugglers were caught near Calhoun with about 1/4 pound of cocaine. Police say Kenneth Eugene Fisher, age 40 of nearby Douglasville, Georgia was driving the car while 26-year-old Jennifer Rosa Amburgey of Pikeville, Kentucky was a passenger.
