GDOL to help Automation Personnel recruit workers in Rome next week

ATLANTA --The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Automation Personnel fill more than 30 jobs in Calhoun and Adairsville with a light industrial manufacturer.
 
The recruitment will be held Tuesday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL Rome Career Center, 462 Riverside Parkway.
 
The company is recruiting experienced inspectors, creelers, tarp cutters, twisters, and tufting machine operators and mechanics, along with pole-hyster drivers and dye-house sew-on and roll-up workers.
 
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
 
They must also have a high school or General Education Diploma (GED), and at least one year of industrial or manufacturing experience.
 
Salaries begin at $10 an hour, depending on experience and position. Jobs are available on all shifts.
 
The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test and may offer an industrial-skills test.
