New COO For Gordon Hospital

Gordon Hospital is pleased to announce that Brandon Nudd has been named the new Chief Operating Officer at Gordon Hospital.

Nudd isn’t a new face in Calhoun. He began his career here at Gordon Hospital serving as the director of Human Resources and a member of the Administrative team. He left six years ago to further his career, but is back to assume his new responsibilities which include managing a number of departments, the construction of the new addition, and clinic management.

“We are very fortunate to welcome Brandon back into the Gordon Hospital family,” says Pete Weber, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital. “He lived in Calhoun for four years previously so he knows our community and he knows a lot of our physicians, which will be a wonderful advantage for us.”

After leaving Gordon in 2008, Nudd became the director of Human Resources at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill. There he managed human resources and employee health for more than 2,500 employees. From there, he became the Director of Human Resources and Business Development for Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital in La Grange, Ill., where he managed human resources, employee health, business development and patient experience. In 2011, Nudd moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina to serve as Administrative Director of Organizational Development and Primary Care Services at Park Ridge Health, also a member of Adventist Health System. At Park Ridge, Nudd oversaw human resources, operational excellence, wellness, community health, nutritional services, environmental services, and primary care physician practices. 

Nudd holds a Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelors of Business Administration, Management from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration.

“I am excited to be back in Calhoun and look forward to work with the medical staff and employees here,” says Nudd. “Gordon holds a special place in my heart as it is where I started my career. I look forward to contributing to the success of Gordon Hospital.’

Nudd and his wife, Maria, have three children, Mitchell, Blythe, and Brynley. Nudd and his family will reside in Calhoun.
